Original article: September 1, 2026 (11:00 AM ET): If you’re a Proton user, you’ll likely run into some issues today. The company is currently experiencing problems with several of its services.
On Proton’s status site, the company confirms there is a partial outage. The outage appears to be affecting almost every service, except for Proton’s website. That means you may have trouble accessing Proton Mail, VPN, Calendar, Wallet, and more. The company says that it is currently investigating the issue.
We’ll keep an eye on Proton’s status. When the company’s services come back online, we’ll update this article.
