The major class action lawsuit against Apple over Siri and Apple Intelligence delays continues to progress. Apple is expected to pay $250 million to settle the lawsuit, and you can now submit your claim to get a chunk of that payout. Here’s how.
Verita Global, the Settlement Administrator behind the case, has set up the website where you can submit claim information.
The eligible class includes people in the United States who purchased an Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025. That covers the window between when Apple announced the first Apple Intelligence features at WWDC and when it officially delayed the “more personalized” version of Siri.
Apple is paying $250 million to settle the lawsuit, while also admitting no wrongdoing. Legal fees and lawyers will take a chunk of the settlement. For iPhone users, the payout is expected to be $25 per eligible device. That number, however, could vary. If more users than expected file a claim, it could be less. If fewer claims are filed, the maximum payout is $95 per eligible device.
On the settlement website, you’ll be asked to submit your contact information as well as the serial number of the qualifying iPhone. You can then choose whether you’d like to be paid by check, PayPal, Venmo, or ACH. The deadline to submit a claim is December 21, 2026.
The settlement website explains (via MacRumors):
The Settlement will provide a cash payment if you purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, or iPhone 16 Pro Max that you purchased between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 in the United States.
You must fill out and submit a complete and accurate Claim Form below by December 21, 2026. If your Claim Form is incomplete, contains false information, or is not submitted by the deadline, your claim will be rejected and you will waive all rights to receive a payment under this Settlement. The information you provide will be treated as confidential and used for the purpose of this Settlement only.
While the settlement website is now live, it will still be more than a year until payouts are sent. The final approval hearing for payouts is September 29, 2027, and payments will begin at least 60 days after that.
