Update, 5:36 p.m. ET: Apple has also rolled out iPadOS 26.6 public beta 5 (23G5065a), and tvOS 26.6 public beta 5 (23L5766a).
Developers can now install the fifth beta for several upcoming system updates, including iPadOS 26.6. Here are the details.
As Apple wraps up the beta cycle for its 26.6 software updates, the company is now rolling out the fifth beta for iPadOS 26.6 (23G5065a), watchOS 26.6 (23U5062b), tvOS 26.6 (23L5766a), visionOS 26.6 (23O5765a), and HomePod 26.6 (23L5766a).
They are now available alongside iOS 26.6 and macOS 26.6 beta 5, and like those updates, consist mostly of bug fixes, some of which Apple decided to release early due to the growing threat of AI-powered security exploits.
This is likely the last set of beta releases ahead of the RCs. With the official release of the 26.6 updates now on the horizon, most of Apple’s and the developer community’s attention is shifting to iOS 27 and its companion updates, which are expected to launch publicly this fall. Apple is also expected to release the first public betas soon.
In any case, developers can now install iPadOS 26.6 beta 5 and its counterparts, with the public release also expected to come sooner rather than later.
